Lovely friendly staff.Clean functional rooms.Cheeky though to charge extra for Wi-Fi.
The staff member, Anne Marie, handled a difficult situation - lots of stranded motorists - extremely competently. She was calm, quietly efficient and very helpful.
Basic and cheap accommodation. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. My sister also stayed here and had to ask for a different room as the one she was first placed in was damp. We had a bulb out in our room and it was also next to a cupboard with some kind of very noisy machinery in it, which thankfully was switched off between midnight and 8am. The breakfast box was great for a quick meal on the go, but if you have time, I highly recommend you nip next door to The Hog and Hedge for a delicious cooked breakfast instead.
Clean. Polite friendly staff. Even though by a busy A road there good sound proofing. 4 electric sockets. 1 digital TV with Freeview. 30 minutes of free WIFi. There is strong 4g and weak 4g on the O2 network. Electric heater you can control the temperature was nice and warm. There is a bath with shower. The water is easy to control and very warm. In my room there was a double bed. The view from the window was just of a grass bank.. There is a Subway, and Spa shop right next to it. It is a motel but I arrived by foot and was not to hard to get to. I used as a base while doing some winter hiking and camping in Dartmoor. My stay was 29 per night.
Very friendly and polite. Room was perfect. Very clean. Loved the bathroom. Love the choice of bath or shower. Would recommend to friends and family. Hog and Hedge good coffee and croissants.
