For 45 you cant complain, there was a limited amount of toilet roll so I was glad that I didnt need to use it much. The shower holder was fitted oddly which made it awark to use but again for the price it difficult to complain.I believe that the heating wasnt on when I arrived but noticed they had an engineer looking in to it not long after I arrived and it was back up and running not long after.The breakfast tasted great. Breakfast from 8am which I expect would be an issue for some but they do offer a pack lunch if your leaving early which is nice of them.
We went for their special offer on steak meals. Cooked as requested and friendly staff. A very pleasant family friendly pub and restaurant thank you :-)
What you would expect from a bar carvery. Good atmosphere and choice. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back again.
A group of us went in for a drink after a walk in the area. It was mid afternoon on a Sunday so they had stopped severing food put were open for drinks there were only about 6 other people in there. Staff were friendly . They severed gluten free beer which is good. There is a large free car park.
I must say I thought it was over priced ! The breakfast menu was poor . No juice . Not enough choice . Not offered how we wanted our food cooked . The room was pleasant , beds were hard . Someone came in on 2 nd day put two very small towels on the bed . Didnt empty the bin or take away dirty cups and glasses . There was on going issues with my payment . It had been taken twice . But they werent in any rush to resolve the problem or come up and speak to me . Messages werent past on . Very frustrating having 420 taken out and no one seen that bothered for a 3 night stay . Taxi was meant to be ordered for the morning to go to a wedding and it hadnt been done The young man with the beard was a lovely bloke very friendly and helpful
