A nice place with very friendly staff, but be aware that mainly trains only run here on Sundays, so check the timetable if you fancy travelling anywhere from here.
A pleasant station which unfortunately is insufficiently serviced by GWR. Can only get to on a Sunday in the summer with today being the last day (9 September). Needs to be reinstated with a more regular service. The station cafe is decent and you can travel on the preserved heritage railway to Meldon.
Excellent station buffer - particularly the breakfasts. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and volunteers.
