At first the company were polite and willing to help us , we have a baby on the way and we are a young couple first time buy which they were very helpful with , at first We had a viewing and the person showing us around was friendly and polite , he said to us that there were a couple after us viewing and that the landlord would choose who they wanted thier , which we found biased ! After 4 days I looked back on the website and it said let agreed which reading the comments had not just happend to us , I rang today to ask about it and stood our ground politely and the man said that a gentlemen had got the place They didnt let us know and didnt say sorry for not doing so, we are very upset and now are stuck looking for a place on a short timescale till the baby is born , we are deeply disappointed and wont be using this company !
We cannot fault this estate agent. They have been very helpful and have always responded promptly to any concerns/queries. When we were looking at renting a property just over a year ago Godfrey Short & Squire helped us find the perfect place. The process was very quick and we were well looked after! Would highly recommend.
Really did not enjoy dealing with these estate agents. We would certainly not recommend them again.
Not too happy now. At first everything was good, walked into the office as someone thats new to the market, the lady did guide me well and helped me book a viewing. Went to the viewing, all went well too, the agent showing my friend and I around was very nice and helpful and recommended that if we wanted the property, ring the office to begin proceedings. I did so and they said that we couldnt do that, and we would have to wait for the landlord to choose who they want to proceed with and theyd get back to us whether we were successful or not - fair enough.A week later we still hadnt heard anything and just popped online to see if it was still on the market and its been Let Agreed. Still havent heard a single thing from them - not even alternative properties.Its a shame you couldnt even let us know either way. People are looking for properties for a reason and they rely on people like you to help guide them through. You have no idea how urgent it might be or the circumstances behind it. It really just shows the lack of care for your clients.Im looking for properties with a different agent now. Shame :/
A very unprofessional biased company, if your face dont fit this company will give you the run around. we are a decent working family of 5 and was desperate to find a property, we had great references and a deposit and first months rent ready, we had no help whatsoever in securing a property, they will give you the last viewing or not allow you to apply for suitable properties by not getting back to emails or phone calls. STAY AWAY A JOKE OF A COMPANY
