Long wait on phone over 25 minutes. Could be bothered to wait so gave up
Average waiting time of 30 mins when its practically empty, 2 weeks is the quickest time you can get an appointment which is a complete joke. The medical center reflects Okehampton town...underfunded, over stretched and downright unpleasant
Having not been to see a doctor for 2 years I was rushed to A and E for a snake bight. Now back in Okehampton I am having to wait 2 weeks to see any doctor regarding the side affects from my stay in intensive care. An unqualified receptionist is responsible for designating priority on your medical condition. This is not a good practice.
An excellent medical centre. Somehow (despite worsening funding pressures and an increasing population combined with an excessive number of over-entitled individuals within the population who expect an expensive private service without paying a penny in either medical fees or taxes) the practice has somehow managed to adapt and to cope and continue to offer safe care.To any who feel aggrieved by the medical centre, why not register at a different practice and see whether your issues have any genuine value (you will certainly find identical problems at every medical centre) or even write to your MP to try and create the political changes which are required for a better service to be offered.
